Overview:
GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team. This position will be fully onsite in Columbus, OH, and requires a PMP certification.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage all phases of project lifecycles, including planning, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
* Organize, manage, and direct project team tasks, ensuring application of PMO standards, tools, and methodologies.
* Supervise and coordinate project stakeholders, team communications, and deliverables.
* Manage project risks, issues, scope changes, and ensure proactive resolution of conflicts.
* Oversee and maintain project schedules and budgets, adjusting estimates and timelines as needed.
* Ensure timely project delivery through ongoing monitoring of milestones, adherence to scope, and performance tracking.
* Prepare and present proposals and status reports to stakeholders, addressing risks and improvement measures.
* Lead scheduling and quality assurance activities such as reviews and inspections.
* Balance team workload and plan orientation or training as needed for team development.
* Communicate effectively across internal teams, customers, and external suppliers to drive outcomes.
* Support the final evaluation of programs and lead stakeholder approval processes.
Qualifications:
* 8 years of professional Project/Program Management experience.
* 4 years of experience managing full lifecycle implementation projects from requirements through delivery.
* 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Project and Visio.
* Proven experience developing detailed project plans including scope, requirements, and controls.
* Vendor management experience.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within team environments.
