Responsibilities:

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Project Manager to join our Design Review & Technical Services team, based in Doha, Qatar. 

We envisage success in this role to include;

* Manage and lead the design review process across all design disciplines.
* Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, consultants, contractors, project stakeholders, and project teams.
* Focal point for all design review-related correspondence and meetings.
* Track and manage deliverables, ensuring alignment with project milestones.
* Conduct technical workshops, design coordination meetings, and interdisciplinary reviews to facilitate design integration and alignment.
* Review design drawings, specifications, and reports to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, codes, and design intent.
* Identify inconsistencies, gaps, or risks in design submissions and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
* Maintain the design review tracking system to monitor progress, manage deadlines, and report status updates.
* Ensure that design changes are managed through a structured process and properly communicated and documented.
* Coordinate with regulatory authorities (as needed) to ensure the review team is abreast with the latest local statutory and permitting regulations and requirements.
* Ensure lessons learned and best practices from previous projects are integrated into ongoing design reviews.
* Report regularly on design review progress, risks, and required actions.
* Manage and plan resource utilization.
* Assist with managing team development initiatives.
* Assist in business development and Bid activities.
* Monitor and Control project financials and prepare reports for management review.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15 years of relevant experience on design managementor technical review role  partnered with Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering. Masters, PhD, or similar is an advantage. Experience in large-scale development projects in GCC region.

* APM or PMP certification would be an advantage. 
* Licensed as a Professional Architect or Engineer by an internationally recognized architectural or engineering association/body. 
* Experience in the management of entire project lifecycle of large, complex, multidisciplinary projects through to post-occupancy. 
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Awareness and understanding of 2D/3D software, including Revit and AutoCAD.
