Colliers Engineering & Design is looking for a passionate Project Engineer to join our dynamic Traffic Planning group at our Phoenix, AZ office! Responsibilities:

* Apply broad knowledge of principles and practices in a specific area.
* Independently evaluate, select and adapt standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
* Design complete projects, systems, components or processes.
* Prepare advanced general and basic non-routine engineering designs and/or technical data for completion and accuracy.
* Prepare complete project documents.
* Analyze and interpret data, formulate and solve problems.
* Prepare scopes of work, budgets and schedule assignments.
* Assist with proposal development for professional services.
* Provide direction to engineers, technicians and administrative staff.
* Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of engineering work.
* Attend meetings and present specific components of assignments.
* Work within AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation to complete projects within established budgets and deadlines.
* Perform field investigations/ site visits as needed.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
* 4+ years of transportation/traffic engineering experience required.
* PE license in AZ, or through reciprocity, is also required. 
* Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation and other related software packages.
* Demonstrate advanced, general and basic non-routine knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, principles and practices.
* Demonstrate advanced technical and nontechnical writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
* Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
