This position oversees the procedural matters related to an ongoing project or program in an assigned area. The incumbent provides administrative support to senior department personnel. The position does not provide direct care to patients.

Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
* Coordinates procedural matters regarding the day-to day operations of a healthcare or administrative program.
* Supports departmental initiatives by implementing and monitoring the progress of different projects, ensuring that goals and deadlines are met.
* Plans and implements procedural changes and modifications for the project.
* Monitors expenditures to ensure compliance within prescribed budget parameters.
* Assists in the preparation of proposals or outreach publications.
* Maintains or oversees the maintenance of project records, lists or files. Prepares related reports and performs evaluation of project effectiveness.
* Provides information to staff and leadership regarding the policies and procedures of the project or department.
* May provide or work directly with computer support for departmental/project objectives and determine appropriate software needed.
* May prepare and coordinate seminars, workshops, luncheons and educational materials within the scope of the project/department.
* May act as the University's representative for this field or specialty area when contacting other departments and outside organizations.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
* Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills.

* Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:
Required
* Six years related experience in assigned areas, or equivalency.
* Depending upon department of hire, a valid, State of Utah Driver's License may be required.
