Responsibilities: Our newest opportunity is for a talented Assistant Resident Engineer - Project Coordinator to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. We envisage success in this role to include; * Assist the Resident Engineer in managing and supervising civil construction activities, including structural, architectural, and external works for villa projects. * Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project quality standards. * Coordinate and inspect civil works such as foundations, concrete works, masonry, waterproofing, roadworks, and utilities related to villa developments. * Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and inspection requests. * Ensure that all civil works are carried out in accordance with project safety regulations and HSE requirements. * Support in resolving site issues by providing timely technical input and liaising with relevant stakeholders, including the contractor and design team. * Coordinate with other disciplines (MEP, landscape, infrastructure) to ensure smooth execution of interconnected works. * Participate in progress meetings, prepare site reports, issue non-conformance reports (NCRs), and maintain site documentation. * Assist in the handover process and the preparation of snag lists and as-built documentation. Qualifications: To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15 years of work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Civill Engineering.
