				Overview:

The Project Controls Analyst has responsibility for the overall financial reporting and forecasting, change management, scheduling, document control and project administration for Contract Modifications.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do:

* Identify, track, investigate, review and determine if potential change items are merited for submission to Client;
* Review and understand contract documents, gather information from the field, cost report, schedule and other sources to prepare written justification for change orders;
* Work with team members, vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing, coordinate/assist with implementation of changes;
* Estimate change order work for submission to Client;
* Prepare exhibits and other backup documentation for change order justification;
* Lead/facilitate fact finding meetings with Client contractual, technical and cost estimating staff to discuss/explain scope, merit and level of effort;
* Negotiate/analyze client change order offers;
* Budget and forecast costs related to change order work, work closely with cost team in preparing monthly and quarterly forecasts and reporting;
* Generate cost codes to track potential change work;
* Manage meetings with owner, client representatives and other contractors as required;
* Assist in the preparation and negotiation of cost proposals for additional work including tracking Time & Material work.

We're Looking For:

* Understand and interpret contract documents and plans;
* Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products;
* Understand the project estimate, cost report budgeting and schedule - experience with HCSS HeavyBid is preferred;
* Strong estimating skills and understanding of field operations;
* Strong written and verbal communication skills;
* Functions effectively as part of a team;
* Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times;
* Ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders;
* Exhibits strong leadership qualities;
* Excellent time management and organizational skills;
* Strong decision making/problem solving skills;
* Strong negotiation skills;
* Excellent understanding of cost reporting/forecasting;
* Good attention to detail;
* Understand base scope of work and base estimate and cost report;
* Bachelor's Degree;
* 2+ years of relevant experience in heavy civil estimating and field positions.
