Responsibilities:
Job Description:
The Progra Support Specialist will be responsible for:
* Plans and develops activities to include formulation of Human Resources policies and procedures, personnel management, organizational structure, staffing profiles and position management. Interprets, extracts, provides guidance on, and disseminates pertinent information concerning these activities.
* Coordinates personnel actions with the managers and supervisors. Other actions include initiating, monitoring and tracking requests for personnel actions. Assures adequate justification is provided on personnel and position action requests, reviewing for completeness and accuracy.
* Determines policy and issues standing operating procedures and regulations concerning PEO activities, reporting requirements, etc.
* Maintains excellent liaison with higher headquarters staffs and coordinates closely with Human Capital Management specialists in support activities to ensure up-to-date procedures are followed and to ensure reports, requests, mission and functional statement, etc. are consistent with regulatory and procedural requirements.
* Reviews legislation or regulations which significantly change the basic characteristics of the Human Resource management or manpower resourcing of the Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) Project Office.
* Responsible for the execution of personnel management functions, tracking of personnel, advises on organizational structure, in-processing and out-processing, reorganization and rightsizing actions such as VERA/VSIP.
* Coordinates closely with product management offices and divisions under the UAS Project Office.
* Develops and implements HR operating procedures and program guidance under the direction of the Operations Chief for use throughout the UAS Project Office.
* Serves as the Training Coordinator and Awards management point of contact; Maintains oversight of financial disclosure report management (OGE 450), G8 / UAS Manning table, telework agreements, etc.
Qualifications:
Required Education:
Bachelors' degree in a related field with 3 years relevant experience.
Required Clearance:
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance, ideal candidate will currently hold an active Secret clearance; US Citizenship required.
Required Experience:
* Three years' related experience in personnel in-processing
* Experience providing essential administrative and logisitics support to ensure the efficient operation of programs by in-processing personnel within the UAS organization
* Ability to handle a wide range of tasks including, coordinating schedules, managing communication and organizing documentation
* contracts, accounting, working in financial databases, preparation/review of financial reports, and tracking and analysis of financial execution/obligations.
* Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
* Must have demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
* Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
