Pay Rate: $19.11 - $21.79/hr dependent upon experience

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Pocono Center provides programs and services for adults with developmental disabilities. Providing services in Monroe, Wayne, Pike, and Lackawanna counties, this position is responsible for coordinating, developing, and implementing, Individual Support Plans and behavior plans and monitoring progress.

More about the role: Assist individual's with their unique progress and growth in areas of functional skills, personal needs, communication, pre-vocational skills or  job training, and activities of daily living.  Serves as an active member of the Interdisciplinary Team providing direction, mentorship, training, and support to direct care staff in the implementation of support plans and behavioral plans.

Qualifications:

Valid Drivers License required. 

Program Specialist: Associate's degree in social sciences and/or related field with 4 years experience working with children or adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities OR Bachelor's degree in the above stated fields with 2 years experience OR Master's degree in education, social sciences and/or related health field with 1 year experience.   Experience in a residential treatment setting preferred
