				Overview:

The Program Manager, Hygiene Operations will facilitate the operational execution of the hygiene business line and influence the strategic direction of the hygiene platform with a special emphasis on expanding the Mouth-Body Connection (MBC). In collaboration with the Sr. Director, Specialty Operations and Hygiene Dir, PDS Health University - Dental, the Manager will work with regional and office level teams to deploy platform programs, services, and tools to directly impact operational results and drive growth of the hygiene platform. The Manager will collaborate with Regional Partners, Specialty Regional Managers/Directors, Regional Managers/Directors, Owner Dentists and Hygienists to provide leadership by identifying, evaluating, and recommending hygiene platform best practices and actively coach team members in alignment with regional and organizational goals.

Responsibilities

* Act as a trusted subject matter expert and leader regarding the Hygiene business line and operationalization of the Mouth-Body Connection.

* Collaborate with national support departments and the Hygiene Dir, PDS Health University - Dental to support the development and growth of the hygiene platform across PDS Health.

* Partner with Territory/Regional Partners and Regional Leadership Teams to provide critical feedback on the current state of new and existing hygiene programs and to recommend solutions and available resources to drive growth.

* Provide strategic guidance and leadership to support the growth and development of Specialty Regional Managers/Directors with the aim of enhancing their understanding of hygiene revenue drivers and the associated operational execution standards they can impact, supporting the achievement of regional and Owner Dentist goals, and their related financial objectives related to Hygiene

* Partner with PDS Health University - Dental team and others in the development of clinical educational offerings for hygiene and directly support the deployment of hygiene educational offerings, including direct support for a Hygiene Clinical Leader strategy.

* Provide effective leadership, coaching, and mentoring to field team members, aligning them to operational best practices of the hygiene program.

* Collaborate with the Specialty Operations Support team and departmental leadership to ensure resources are available to regional teams and Owner Doctors and are aligned with identified needs and overall company strategy to drive both hygiene platform growth and overall operationalization of MBC.

* Collaborate with Territory/Regional Partners, Specialty Regional Managers/Directors and the Recruiting and UR teams to ensure alignment on current hiring needs, recruiting priorities and strategy for hygiene programs, and to grow key hygiene school program relationships to increase current and future bench strength to drive access to care growth.

* Participate in the analysis of hygienist compensation and incentive standards of the PDS Platform, along with evolving field needs, and can articulate an understanding of the associated benefits and/or risks of potential changes.

* Analyze opportunities with UCRs, contracted rates and hygiene specific adjustments to advise Regional and Departmental Leaders on organizational and market specific opportunities and potential action plans.

* Align the hygiene platform with company mission, culture values and strategies.

* Collaborate in the identification of needed improvements in hygiene specific reporting, metrics, and available data, including but not limited to hiring and turnover data, available KPIs and office/program-level financial information.

* Analyze and provide advice at both the organizational level and to the regional teams and owner doctors on trends in the hygiene market, including but not limited to insurance benefits, new technologies, business opportunities, and business risks.

* Other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in related field, in lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience

* 6+ years of professional experience, of those

* 4+ years of experience in complex business, managerial, and healthcare; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

* 2+ years in leadership position

* Experience with strategic business development, project management, consulting, and data mining.

* Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Preferred

* Registered Dental Hygienist licensure (current or past) or

* Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Healthcare Administration.

* Ability in managing daily operations within a team while developing long term (3-5 years) goals.

* Ability to manage change and do extremely well in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment under time constraints.

* Ability to take initiative and work independently, and work effectively with individuals belonging to all levels within the organization.

* Strong financial acumen

* Ability to effectively simplify complex data or situations and communicate information to Senior Management.

* Proactively approach everything with drive and energy with an eye on the bottom line; not afraid to initiate action before all the facts are known; drive to finish everything he/she starts.
