				Overview:

Under the direction of the Director of Operations and other staff as needed, Office of Workforce Development, the Bank On Boston Program Manager is responsible for developing and implementing Bank On Boston activities. The Program Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day management of the Bank On Boston Coalition, including working with FI partners to design and certify safe, low-cost products, establishing and overseeing banking integrations, and managing the Bank On Boston Coalition, including agenda creation, meeting facilitation, and Coalition partner relationship management.

Responsibilities:

The general duties and responsibilities of the position are included but not limited to the information listed below.

Program Management:

* Work closely with Financial Institution partners to identify, develop, certify, and promote safe, low-cost financial products and services in accordance with the National Bank On Account Standards.
* Develop and maintain bank account opening integrations to serve low and moderate income clients participating in City of Boston or community based programs and services. This includes meeting with individual residents to assist them with basic banking needs.
* Work directly with City of Boston Youth Employment programs and partners to offer safe, free, non-custodial account options and targeted financial education to youth workers in Boston.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for Coalition members and manage the day-to-day relationships and activities of the Coalition.
* Set agendas for Coalition meetings and maintain minutes and associated work plans. 
* Create public-facing content regarding safe products and product standards for use by Coalition partners in print and online. 
* Generate educational materials on banking and facilitate targeted financial education on banking for youth and adult program participants. 
* Provide workshops in person and remotely for community partners, Boston youth, and City of Boston residents.
* May supervise staff, interns, and/or volunteers.
* Perform related work as required.

Qualifications:

* Three plus (3+) years of work experience. A bachelor's degree may account for two (2) years of experience.
* Experience effectively organizing or leading coalitions or working groups.
* Experience organizing and facilitating youth-focused programming.
* Experience in the social sector, with emphasis on financial empowerment and banking experience.
* Personal connection to the low and moderate-income communities of Boston. 
* Supervisory experience is helpful.
* Proficiency with Microsoft applications and Google Suite.
* Strong written and oral communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple projects on a tight deadline.
* Bilingual preferred (Spanish, Haitian Creole, Cape Verdean Creole, Chinese, and Vietnamese). 
* Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job.
