Adult Services is looking for a Program Director for our Hankin Medical Residential program located in Berwyn, PA. As a Program Director you will oversee the operation of assigned programs to assure quality services that meet the social, emotional, health, and physical needs of the Individuals, in accordance with Devereux philosophy, established Center procedures, and regulatory requirements. Assists in program development designed to meet market needs. Serves as a liaison with community resources and regulatory agencies.
The schedule for this position is Monday- Friday 9am-5pm with an on call
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Adult Services provides programs and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our main campus is located in Berwyn PA. Our dedicated team of over 600 staff ranging from highly-specialized clinicians and nurses to recreational and direct staff professionals, all work to one common goal the happiness, self-fulfillment and social integration of each adult in our community.

Qualifications:
Be at least 21 years of age
Must possess and maintain valid driver's license
EDUCATION: Masters degree in Human Services or related field.
EXPERIENCE: At least five (5) years of increasing supervisory experience in Human Services or health care setting. At least two (2) years experience in the Human Services field, working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses. Requires knowledge of regulatory requirements and an ability to adhere to established regulations. Excellent customer service skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task and manage crises. Ability to adapt to rapidly changing demands of the position, customer needs, and the organization. Proficient computer skills and mastery of Microsoft applications. Must possess and maintain valid driver's license, and be at least 21 years of age.
The IDEAL candidate will... Be empathetic, a team player, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, energetic, creative, understand the theories of behavior management and positive reinforcement, and represent yourself as a positive role model. Additionally, you must be able to complete eight days of new hire orientation class, have a strong passion for working with and helping children and adolescents with special needs and possess a valid license.Physical Requirements: Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing. Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques upwards of 75-100 lbs. or more. Some repetitive wrist/hand movements, normal hearing and vision. Occasional use of computers and office equipment. Occasional driving of Devereux vehicles for business purposes. Ability to meet 100% mastery of Safe and Positive Approaches.
