Responsibilities:

The Program Coordinator RN - TIEDI Coordinator develops strategies, coordinates day to day operations, and evaluates impact of the services provided on patients referred to the program. Works with interprofessional team to facilitate overall programmatic growth.

ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of transplant-related data to the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS).

2. Oversees accurate data entry and maintenance of patient and transplant-related information in the UNOS database

3. Ensures adherence to UNOS policies and federal regulations regarding data reporting and patient confidentiality.

4. Performs Root Cause Analysis on adverse events.

5. Participations in the review and creation of policies and procedures.

6. Participation in Quality Team Projects

7. Responsible for reporting the following data points in the UNOS database: Extra vessel disposition, patient death, graft failure

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
* Three (3) years of experience in Transplant 
* Preferred:  UNOS TIEDI data submission experience  
* Preferred:  Certification (CCRN, CCTN, or CPHQ) or Master's Degree

Required Licensure and Certifications

* Registered Nurse (RN)

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training

* Excellent written/oral communication skills.
* Ability to be self‐motivated.
* Effective problem solving techniques.
* Basic computer skills in Google / G-Suite programs.
