Overview:
As the world of learning and performance continues to evolve at a rapid pace and the expectations of our commercial organization grow daily, there is a need for our team to employ forward thinking and highly skilled learning enablement professionals.
The Sales Trainer will report to the Director, Global Learning Enablement and will be accountable for delivering key objectives of the learning strategy for the Waters commercial organization of ~1,000 global sales and marketing employees.
The ideal candidate will
1. Have a strong background in a science sales role.
2. Excel at delivering face-to-face and virtual classroom training using contemporary delivery tools.
3. Be able to coach sales professionals before, during and after training to drive learning transfer and behavioral change.
4. Will be self-directed and be able to deliver results with minimal supervision.
5. Have excellent consulting skills to partner with our product and commercial teams.
This position will partner/coordinate with local resources across the global regions thus requiring an individual with respect for the diversity of our product and commercial teams and their approach to work and our customers.
Responsibilities:
* Delivers training facilitation (virtual/face to face) for Buyer-Focused Selling program. Manages each cohort's administration, delivery, feedback, and measurement. Provides post training coaching and reinforcement to participants - 50%
* Partners closely with our product segments to deliver online and live science-based learning to our sales and marketing teams - 30%
* Optimizes a centralized sales learning enablement system that delivers relevant content to support specific sales roles. Drives & monitors communities of practice and provides daily guidance - 20%
Qualifications:
Education:
BS Learning & Performance Certifications/Training desired.
Coaching certifications desired
Experience:
* Commercial: 10+ years' experience in a science-based sales role
* Commercial: demonstrated use of using data to inform decisions
* Science: Working knowledge of Waters products
* Training Facilitation: 7+ years' experience - demonstration of facilitation skills will be required.
* Technology: Strong working knowledge of salesforce CRM
* Creative focus, design thinking
* Project Management
* Change Management
