Overview:
GovCIO is currently hiring for Productivity Manager for our CDC proposal effort.
A Workplace Productivity Manager plays a critical role in optimizing an organization's efficiency and output. They are responsible for implementing strategies that boost individual and team productivity, enhance employee engagement, and ensure the workspace aligns with company goals. This position is located in Atlanta, GA and is a remote hybrid position.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement productivity strategies: Create plans and projects aimed at improving overall workplace output, including setting targets and measuring progress.
* Analyze and optimize processes: Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in workflows and implement solutions to streamline operations.
* Manage and allocate resources: Ensure effective utilization of personnel, technology, and materials, including evaluating workloads and making investment recommendations.
* Leverage technology: Utilize automation tools, project management software, and data analytics to enhance productivity, streamline tasks, and gain valuable insights into performance. Experience with Communications Email/Messaging Services, Enterprise Collaboration Services, Process Automation and Visualization Services, and Reporting Services.
* Foster a positive work environment: Encourage teamwork, collaboration, open communication, and a culture of continuous improvement.
* Provide training and development: Offer opportunities for employees to enhance their skills, learn new methods, and grow professionally.
* Measure and analyze productivity: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge productivity levels and identify areas for improvement.
* Manage change: Effectively guide the organization through transformations, explaining benefits and overcoming resistance to new procedures or technology.
* Stay abreast of trends: Keep up-to-date on best practices, new technologies, and market trends in productivity management.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)
* Clearance Requirement: ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to diagnose issues, evaluate solutions, and use data to make informed decisions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Build trust, foster open communication, and facilitate collaboration across teams and levels.
* Strategic thinking and planning abilities: Develop and align productivity initiatives with overall organizational goals.
* Experience with productivity tools and techniques: Familiarity with project management software, time management strategies (e.g., Eisenhower Matrix, Pomodoro Technique), and automation tools.
* Change management expertise: Guide the team and organization through transitions smoothly and effectively.
* Experience in a relevant field: Depending on the industry, experience in areas like supply chain, production, or finance may be beneficial.
* Educational background: A bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, or a related field is typically required, while a master's degree in Computer Science may be preferred.
