Responsibilities:

2nd Shift - 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm Monday through Friday

Starting Pay Rate: $21.38/hr

Pay Grade HR130

Now hiring at our Cranberry Township, PA manufacturing plant for a Production Technician I.  In this role you will be counted on to perform the following tasks:

* Assemble and test (including set-up), moderately complex instruments and/or sub-assemblies requiring wiring and soldering.
* Produce customized instruments to customer specifications  (assemble to order).
* Package and ship instruments according to OMS instructions.
* Transfer material to shipping dock.
* Perform visual inspections and minor repairs and rework.
* Complete and maintain relevant paperwork and input information in computer system.
* Ability to read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures. 

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

* Ability to:
*  understand standard units of measure and set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices. 
* frequently stand in a stationary position.
* lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 pounds without assistance.
* perform work that requires magnification.
* use power and hand tools, custom tooling and to operate a pallet jack.
*  effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporary agency assignments. 
* work independently with minimal supervision, and prioritize and organize work. 
* work in a team environment. 
* wear ANSI Z87 approved safety glasses and other PPE as required per Job Safety Analysis. 

* Strong manual dexterity for use of tools and performing work on small components requiring fine finger manipulation and hand steadiness.
* Operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area.
* Willingness to work on various product groups and work flexible shifts.
* Must attain ability to perform SAP transactions.

Education and Experience Required:

* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Minimum 3 months electronics manufacturing or other related experience

Education and Experience Preferred:

* Past soldering experience
