Join our team as a Production Supervisor and play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our manufacturing operations. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient working environment, overseeing the production process from start to finish, and collaborating with a dynamic team to solve challenges and optimize productivity. With a focus on communication, scheduling, training, and mechanical aptitude, you will lead by example, driving excellence and continuous improvement in all aspects of production. Salary: $52,000

Hours: 8:00 - 4:30 Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety procedures.

Review work throughout the production process to completion. 

Inform designated employees or departments of issues affecting production.

Collaborate with production staff and managers to solve work-related problems.

Check material specifications against work orders.

Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain for effective performance.

Transmit and explain work orders to production staff.

Prepare and maintain work records and reports.

Inspect equipment for wear and conformance to specifications.

Estimate material, time, and staffing needs based on job specifications, and experience.

Evaluate staff training needs and provide instruction.

Resolve personnel issues, referring complex matters to higher-level supervisors.

Recommend personnel actions, such as promotions, or disciplinary measures.

Participate in the hiring process and provide recommendations.

Inspect equipment for maintenance or repairs.

Assist in production as needed.

Inventory parts and supplies regularly.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.

This position requires sharing of information with supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates verbally, digitally and in person.

Establish work groups and assigns tasks. Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.

Identifying the needs of production staff and ensuring that they are met.

Has mechanical abilities and is able to work hands on with various machinery.
