				Overview:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, safety, and on-time delivery. This role leads and coordinates production teams, manages resources, and ensures compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and industry standards.
Responsibilities:

Mains Responsibilities:

* Supervise and coordinate production activities across assigned shifts/areas (assembly, sheet metal, powder coating, molding, etc.).

* Ensure compliance with production schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.

* Monitor performance metrics (productivity, scrap, rework, downtime, etc.) and implement corrective actions when necessary.

* Lead and motivate production teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

* Coordinate with support departments (Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, HR, Logistics) to resolve issues and optimize processes.

* Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards (OSHA, ISO, internal policies).

* Conduct shift meetings, assign work, and follow up on priorities and targets.

* Identify training needs, coach employees, and support career development within the production area.

* Participate in audits, problem-solving initiatives, and lean manufacturing/Kaizen projects.

Required Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

* Experience: 3-5 years in a supervisory role within the manufacturing sector.

* Knowledge:

* Manufacturing processes (sheet metal, painting, molding, assembly).

* Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.

* Production planning and KPI management.

* Basic knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.

* Skills:

* Strong leadership and team management.

* Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.

* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
