Overview:
Hayward Holdings Inc. (NYSE "HAYW") is the largest manufacturer of residential swimming pool equipment in the world, with a significant presence in the commercial pool market that is continuously growing. Hayward designs, manufactures, and markets a full line of residential and commercial pool and spa equipment including pumps, filters, heating, cleaners, salt chlorinators, automation, lighting, safety, flow control and energy solutions at our company owned facilities. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee, Arizona, and Rhode Island as well as Canada, Spain, France, Australia, and China. This position is based in Clemmons, NC.
Plan and disseminate master production schedule for manufacturing with limited supervision by performing the following duties. Provides guidance, collaboration, and leadership to other planners and assists the Master Planning Manager as needed.
Responsibilities:
* Reviews sales forecast and customer order demands to establish sequence and lead time of each operation and determine the accuracy of master production schedule.
* Ensures the MPS and MRP reports are submitted daily.
* Analyzes plant capacity data and production specifications and performs mathematical calculations to determine labor/material requirements to meet the time demands of the plan.
* Submits replacement parts forecast update monthly and work order post to history updates weekly.
* Implements and pilots new MRPII modules.
* Interfaces with Customer Service Department, Sales Department and facility leadership to ensure that plan efficiency and schedule adherence are maintained to satisfy customer demands.
* Reviews and approves engineering changes or new product implementation for feasibility and schedule into the production plan for execution.
* Expedites needed purchased materials and recommends material substitution to ensure the production schedule is maintained and to meet any unforeseen conditions.
* Monitors inventory levels (dollars/units) of assigned product line.
* Maintains and updates item master list as necessary.
* Writes standard operating procedures for the department.
* Indentifies, troubleshoots and corrects problems that arise in the department as necessary.
* Advises Master Planning Manager of situations in the department that need attention.
* Completes special projects and assignments as requested by the Master Planning Manager.
* Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Must have a solid understanding of the product lines, as well as excellent analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
* Must have knowledge of MRPII application and be P.C. literate.
* Significant knowledge working in an ERP environment, Microsoft D365 preferred
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree (B.A.) preferred or 1-3 years related experience in a manufacturing environment.
