Responsibilities:

Responsibilities: 

* Use ERP generated reports or planned orders to convert to production plan, acknowledging incoming supply of materials, inventory availability, resource constraints, and internal or external customers' needs.
* Ensure production orders are maintained to provide accurate MRP signals.
* Utilize demand signals from SAP to understand workload per responsible production line and aid the capacity planning process.
* Prioritize production lines by utilizing SAP exception messaging to expedite, de-expedite, reschedule and re-plan assigned work centers based on internal and external customers' dynamically changing needs.
* Work closely with the New Product Development project teams as it relates to master data set up, workload planning, driving demand signals in SAP, and scheduling beta and stock builds to ensure production readiness.
* Ensure execution of production plan through verbal and electronic communication of production schedule to the assigned production supervisor and group leader.
* Communicate any production schedule changes to the product line manager and customer service when necessary.
* Maintain SAP master data including production lead time, MRP settings, MRP relevant material master views, total replenish lead time, repetitive scheduling set up and maintenance.
* Utilize the internal continuous improvement operating system to correctly identify root causes of problems and drive corrective action results.

* Proven ability to model disciplined execution following detailed standard work, maintaining a high level of attention to detail, driving efficiency, productivity and personal accountability.
* Demonstrated innovative and technological mindset to ensure master data integrity and accuracy, seek out latest industry trends, road-map future technology and champion early adoption.
* Sound ability to make data driven and analytical decisions by identifying trends and opportunities, making problems visible, and utilizing financial acumen to justify investments and influence decisions.
* Proven success in challenging the status quo to drive continuous improvement promoting the use of root cause problem solving, valuing new ideas, inspiring others, and demonstrating effective use of change management principles.
* Proven success in building partnerships, influencing others, and communicating effectively both in verbal and written form, seeking diverse perspectives, and strong emotional intelligence to enable cross functional collaboration.
* Ability to work early to support first shift manufacturing operations.

Education and experience required:

* Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Logistics related fields
* This position is available at three different career levels based upon experience, education, etc.:

* Level II: 2+ years' production planning experience.  This level will focus on medium to high impact production lines.
* Level III: 5+ years production planning experience.  This level focus on high impact production lines and advanced supply chain complexity.

Education and experience Preferred:

* APICS, CPIM or related accreditation preferred
* Experience using SAP for production planning and inventory control modules
* Production planning in a versatile manufacturing environment
