A Wisconsin client, a global leader in the electronic - electromechanical product development space seeks a production manager - supervisor for their manufacturing operations in Southwestern Wisconsin. This is a direct hire role offering great opportunities for career growth (must be promotable). Client offers a competitive compensation package, and will provide full relocation. This location offers a non-urban, smaller town environment, reasonable housing costs, and is a great place to raise a family. ~1 hour from two well recognized Universities.
You will ... Facilitate and lead production teams (50-75 reports) using your proven knowledge of electro-mechanical manufacturing in a built to order, ISO9000 - 14000 environment; Promote customer needs as the key driver for business goals and initiatives; Manage departmental expenses to budget; Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects; Foster success of projects and initiatives intended to improve customer and business success; Build strong relationships and partnerships to leverage ideas, capabilities, and processes; Promote an honest and open environment, unifying internal associates around a common vision and goals, and team with others for enhanced outcomes; Promoting a culture that values risk-taking; Apply policies and procedures in compliance with government laws; Apply a commitment to employee development, beginning with self, as a means of ensuring the company's ongoing capacity to achieve business goals.
Required: Proven leadership - supervision in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment. Knowledge of governmental regulations (e.g. health, safety, quality and environmental). A proven motivator, leader and trainer with the ability to gain others' commitment and support, even when embarking on unknown territory. An ability to put together well-defined goals to meet business challenges and ensuring performance against those goals.. Maintaining operational effectiveness throughout the change process.
