Responsibilities:
This Product Engineering role will be responsible for supporting a wide variety of products and components manufactured and tested within the Colorado Springs Technology Center. The engineer will support oscilloscope probes and accessories (finished goods), high-frequency MCMs/Hybrids/BGAs, and ASICs. The job duties of the Product Engineer include:
* Troubleshooting DC/RF test failures within the cleanroom manufacturing environment
* Performing failure analysis for field failures and internal failures
* Evaluating data trends/yields for tested parts, including statistical analyses and limit setting
* Working with design teams to ensure production is set up to succeed after new part introductions
* Typical product engineer handles 10-20 products across multiple categories with volumes ranging from 20/year to 8k/year.
* Continuous Process Improvement including Six Sigma and LEAN are a focus of our operations
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills are critical to success in this role.
Qualifications:
BSEE or MSEE Degree
5+ years manufacturing engineering experience with high-speed electrical components
Knowledge/Experience with CPI (Continuous Process Improvement) methodologies
Pay Range:
USD $74,670.00 - USD $1,244.40 Year
