				Overview:

The Product Validation Engineer, I will develop and execute experiments and performance tests to assess reliability of Zebra's printing devices.

***Location: Fully onsite in Lincolnshire, IL 

Responsibilities:

* Learns standard testing methods appropriate for use at various stages of the design and development process. Build familiarity and understanding of assigned products and product cost drivers
* Learns and develops proficiency with standard engineering tools
* Perform testing following established test plans and procedures. Completes and reports results of tests per project timelines. Perform basic data analysis
* Works closely with design engineers and development teams to identify critical performance parameters
* Develops the ability to recommend actions for maintaining test progress
* Provides expertise in structured test design, test set-up, metrology, data collection, data interpretation, and statistical analysis to design/project team
* May present test results to project team, in department management or small groups of other stakeholders usually limited to Senior Manager and below

Qualifications:

 Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree required (preferably in an engineering discipline)
* Related knowledge and/ or experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Electronic Engineering degree preferred
* Experience with product testing and validation 
* Communication skills: Able to communicate their findings effectively, both in written reports and verbal discussions with the team.
