Product Security Software Engineer Intern

We are seeking a passionate and innovative student who would like to join our dynamic team in Software & AI Labs (SAL) Group. You will be working closely with the team on upgrading the current Vulnerability Assessment Tool with AI capabilities by implementing evaluation driven development (EDD).

Responsibilities:

* Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code under the guidance of senior engineers.
* Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and improve code quality.
* Debug and troubleshoot software issues, proposing and implementing fixes.
* Seek feedback regularly and apply it to improve technical and professional skills.
* Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability.
* Assist in prototyping and proof-of-concept development.
* Document technical decisions and share learnings with the team.

Qualifications:

* Currently enrolled in Bachelor/Master Computer Science/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a software related discipline, from an accredited college or university
* Interest in Software Security, Secure Development Lifecycles, and software architecture
* Able to work independently and creatively
* Experience using Python, including coding standards defined in PEP 8 (Style Guide for Python Code)
