Responsibilities: We are seeking a talented and experienced strategic product planner who will be responsible for global business strategy development to drive growth in our bit error ratio testing (BERT) product segment. This highly technical role requires the ability to obtain industry and customer insights in high-speed serial data transmission for computer buses and devices, memory interfaces as well as datacenter interfaces for cable, backplane and optical transceivers. Based on that, identify emerging technology trends and application opportunities with the objective to develop impactful growth initiatives and product as well as solution roadmaps, and drive implementation of strategic plan to increase Keysight market share. * Own Keysight BERT short-term and long-term roadmap and strategy. * Conduct comprehensive market analysis, competitive assessments, and monitor industry trends to identify threats and opportunities. * Identify and quantify emerging opportunities for innovation and strategic investment based on new industry's requirements. * Present strategic recommendations and insights to senior executives, advocating for data-driven business and investment decisions. * Engage with key customers and lead the efforts of customer requirements gathering and validation throughout the product and solution development processes. * Embrace a customer-first and result-oriented mindset, bringing a "can do" attitude to the team. * Collaborate with global cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing and Sales to ensure effective execution of the growth strategy and successful market launches of new products and solutions. Qualifications: Required Qualifications * Bachelor or Master degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, communications engineering or equivalent technical degree. * Critical: Demonstrated skill and sustained interest in the disciplines listed below, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and technology trends. * High-speed serial data interfaces in computer, mobile and/or memory devices, e.g. PCI Express, USB, MIPI or DDR. * Ethernet and other datacenter interfaces for electrical and optical transmission. * At least 5 years of relevant experience in strategic planning, business development, marketing or application engineering. * Self-motivated, fast learner and results-driven with minimal supervision. * Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative multi-disciplined environment. * Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. * Experience with whole product lifecycle (proof of concept, design, prototype, verification, qualification, release) Desired Qualifications: * Several years of experience as business analyst, management consultant or in other strategic roles. * Proven track record of balancing trade-offs in product definition between market need timeline and the creation of sustained differentiation from unique measurement capabilities. * German language skills. * Test & measurement experience. * Additional business / economic degree.
