Product Owner, IT Enterprise Applications - Imaging

				Overview:

The Product Owner, IT Enterprise Applications - Imaging plays a crucial role in defining and driving the product roadmap, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs and business objectives. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the product development lifecycle.The Product Owner implements enhancements to an existing imaging system while evaluating and leading a full implementation, partnering with existing and new vendors from the ground up for new imaging system. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and business stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and ensure seamless execution of the imaging system initiatives.

Responsibilities

* Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with overall business goals.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders, including customers, to understand the business needs and incorporate feedback into the product roadmap.
* Create and prioritize the product backlog based on customer and business value.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of features and enhancements.
* Regularly communicate the product roadmap to internal teams and stakeholders.
* Partner with the development teams during sprint planning to ensure a shared understanding of requirements.
* Plan and coordinate product releases, considering dependencies and potential impacts on other teams and systems.
* Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor product metrics for assessment.
* Utilize data-driven insights to inform decisions and continuously improve the product.
* Act as liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable requirements.
* Communicate product updates, milestones, and changes to stakeholders; ensure timely delivery of product releases.
* Gather and incorporate feedback from various sources to enhance the product.
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field of study from an accredited college or university. In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience.
* 6+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years as a Product Owner in Agile Development.
* Certified Product Owner, Scale Agile Framework or related experience.
* Experience utilizing various prioritization techniques such as MoSCoW, Value vs. Effort, Kano Model.
* Experience leading and managing large projects with $1M+ budgets.
* Experience with stakeholder management at all levels.

Preferred

* Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study from an accredited college or university.
* 8+ years of professional related experience.
* Experience in the dental, healthcare or retail industry.
* IT Technical background to understand architecture, and cloud concepts.

* In-depth understanding of development concepts.
* Proficiency in comprehending system documentation (APIs, Pub/Sub architectures, scheduled tasks, Cloud environments - AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Organized and ability to transform complex technical information into clear, concise, and easily understood epics, features, and user stories for technical and non-technical audiences.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage risk, and track progress effectively within a large organization.
