As a Product Manager II, you will serve as the internal and external champion for the Commercial organization. Your day to day will be managing internal and external relationships to deliver product roadmap requirements. Responsibilities include identifying and analyzing industry and market trends, analyzing and synthesizing internal data and processes, identifying products to meet new markets, and cross functional coordination within DISH and with external vendors. You should be comfortable communicating within all areas of the company as well as with external partners and vendors. A desire to self-start projects and take initiative is a must.
The Product Manager II will be responsible for the development of products to drive growth in DISH's Enterprise, Hospitality, Multi-Family, Senior Living, and Public/Private sectors. This is a vital role in the ongoing development of DISH subscriber and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own business performance by monitoring and driving results across key metrics (subscribers, revenue, operations, product stability), identifying risks and corrective actions as needed
* Create, administer and iterate on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans
* Research and analyze market, industry, and competitive trends to define a differentiated product and services portfolio and establish a clear, data-driven roadmap
* Lead end-to-end product and program launches, overseeing planning, development, design, and implementation across Manufacturing, IT, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and Fulfillment
* Develop and present business cases and roadmap recommendations to executive leadership, including new features, products, benefits, and growth opportunities
* Contribute to commercial strategy, partnering with marketing, commercial sales, and operations to drive go-to-market execution and business line growth
* Serve as a subject matter expert and vendor partner, ensuring roadmap requirements are met and positioning DISH Commercial Services as a best-in-class provider
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, etc.) from an accredited college or university
* 1-3 years of experience in a Product Management or equivalent role, or a combination of education and experience
Skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrated experience with end-to-end product delivery and overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
* Extensive experience managing User Acceptance Testing for products prior to launch
* Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to solve ambiguous, complex problems, breaking them down into simple solutions focused on important customer needs
* Strong technical and business acumen, with a working knowledge of business principles and the ability to quickly synthesize new technology concepts
* Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
* A proactive desire to research new technologies, creatively conceptualize products that integrate them, and drive their execution
* Ability to learn quickly, prioritize work, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment with a strong sense of urgency
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, or Marketing
* Experience communicating and influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority
* Extreme curiosity and appetite for learning and growth
* Strong business acumen - Experience working with P&L data to drive growth
* Masters of Business Administration degree from an accredited University
