Responsibilities:

Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview.

As a Product Designer II on our Performance Optimization team, you will bridge the gap between complex backend processes and human-centric design within the Customer Experience Operations (CXO) organization. You will solve the challenge of making internal corporate applications-ranging from performance-based social tools to complex workforce management apps-as intuitive and efficient as world-class consumer products. Your mission is to empower our employees and call center agents through seamless digital experiences that directly improve operational performance and employee satisfaction.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives):

* In your first 90 days, you will audit our suite of internal applications and establish a design roadmap that aligns with CXO's performance and efficiency OKRs

* Collaborate as a vital partner to our full-stack web developers, translating technical system requirements into re-imagined services that prioritize the employee touchpoint

* Design and simulate usable workflows by incorporating modern interaction patterns and high-fidelity prototypes to validate experiences before development begins

* Synthesize data from usability hypotheses, surveys, and participant interviews to recommend actionable action plans that drive project momentum

* Observe and refine existing interactions across our internal tools, ensuring a logical user flow and high-quality consistency across the entire platform

* Leverage AI-driven design and research tools to accelerate our prototyping phases and discover unmet user needs more efficiently

* Manage your design lifecycle and handoffs within Jira, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders and engineering partners

Qualifications:

Core Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring):

* Champion of design systems, showing a proven ability to build and maintain component libraries that scale across multiple applications

* Advanced proficiency in Figma, utilizing it for everything from initial wireframes to high-fidelity, interactive prototypes

* Mastery of both qualitative and quantitative research, allowing you to recruit participants and conduct interviews that minimize bias and uncover deep user insights

* Technical literacy in modern web development and responsive design, ensuring your creative visions are accessible and technically feasible for our engineering team

* Data-informed decision-making skills, using analytics and research synthesis to advocate for design changes that solve real-world user pain points

* AI Literacy, specifically in using generative design tools to brainstorm layouts or automate repetitive documentation tasks within the design workflow

Additional Qualifications:

* Success in this role typically involves a background in designing for complex B2B or internal enterprise environments
* Experience working in an Agile environment where rapid iteration and collaborative problem-solving are the norms
Minimum Requirements:
* Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Design, User Experience, or a related field

* Minimum Experience: 3 years of professional Product Design experience (or an advanced degree)

* Required Technical Skills: Must have at least 1 year of experience contributing to design systems or information architecture (e.g., building component libraries, mapping complex user flows)

* Required Research Skills: Must have experience with quantitative research methodologies
