Responsibilities:

Role Overview

The CAPEX and Aging Warehouse Procurement Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for capital projects, construction services, and aging warehouse infrastructure across Sazerac's North American network. The role ensures efficient delivery of high-quality construction and equipment at optimal cost, while maintaining compliance and alignment with safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute sourcing and contracting strategies for CAPEX and construction categories, including engineering, design, warehouse builds, and site infrastructure.
* Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams to plan and deliver capital projects on time and within budget.
* Lead supplier selection, RFx, negotiation, and contract execution processes for major construction and capital procurement.
* Establish and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, safety, and on-time performance.
* Implement cost tracking, budget control, and KPI systems to monitor supplier and project performance.
* Support risk management, compliance, and sustainability initiatives in all procurement activities.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and standardization of sourcing processes across CAPEX and construction categories.

Qualifications:

Must-have qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Supply Chain.
* 7+ years of procurement or project management experience in CAPEX or construction-related categories.
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation experience with EPCs, contractors, and engineering firms.
* Experience managing budgets, cost forecasting, and financial analysis.
* Ability to communicate and collaborate across functional and organizational levels.
* Willingness to travel up to 25%.
* In-person job attendance required.

Preferred qualifications

* MBA or professional certifications (CPSM, PMP, CIPS).
* Experience with beverages & food, construction, or industrial environments.
* Prior leadership experience managing (cross-functional) teams.
* Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or project management systems (Primavera, MS Project).
* Understanding of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance in construction.
