Responsibilities:
Works on procurement assignments with broadly defined objectives.
* Assures the procurement and inventory management of high technology production and/or non-manufacturing materials, equipment and/or services in accordance with supply chain optimization and management objectives.
* Coordinates material sourcing for new product introduction (NPI) projects, in collaboration with R&D.
* Establishes and manages supplier relationships including negotiating contracts and prices, monitoring supplier performance, selecting/analyzing the supply base and developing and executing the commodity plans.
* May manage contract manufacturer (CM) or original design manufacturer (ODM) relationships to ensure inventory optimization.
* May be responsible for contributing to or leading process improvement efforts, such as in new product introduction (NPI), resourcing, cost reduction and/or quality.
* May have global responsibility and/or support multiple sites.
Qualifications:
* Minimum Bachelor's/Master's degree.
* Typically minimum 2 years working experience in relevant field.
