Responsibilities:
* Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot injection molding, blow molding, or other plastic manufacturing processes.
* Ensure machines are calibrated and maintained for optimal performance, adjusting machine settings as required.
* Monitor production quality, identifying defects and implementing corrective actions to meet quality standards.
* Perform routine maintenance on molding machines and related equipment to ensure smooth operation.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to set up processes and molds accurately.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to develop process improvements and reduce waste.
* Record and maintain detailed production and quality logs, including machine settings, adjustments, and maintenance activities.
* Train and mentor new process technicians or operators in machine operation, safety practices, and process optimization.
* Assist in the implementation of new molding technologies and equipment upgrades.
* Ensure that all ERP processes are executed accurately, adhering to the established protocols for each transaction.
* Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and company policies and regulations during all production activities.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the plastic molding process, including equipment malfunctions, material inconsistencies, and production delays.
* All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (1 year) as a Plastic Process Technician, Machine Operator, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of plastic molding processes (e.g., injection molding, extrusion, blow molding).
