Overview:
Waters ERA is currently looking for an Inside Sales Specialist who will be responsible for the East Region. The role offers the opportunity to learn and apply sales skills for customer phone outreach, lead generation, customer event follow up and opportunity maintenance and creation. Responsibilities:
* Respond to and qualify all Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) received via website, external and internal Business Development efforts (Seminars, Trade Shows, etc.)
* Drive Sales - Independently and collaboratively by increasing market-share at existing accounts and by prospecting within their territory for new business opportunities.
* Sales Competencies - Identify opportunities to cross sell other complementary Waters Products.
* Customer Relationship Building - Communication with and sell to end users and decision makers.
* Business Development - Preparing and implementing comprehensive Business Development activities/strategies for assigned sales territory.
* Database Management - Utilizing Waters CRM to track sales activities, open opportunities and campaign follow-up initiatives.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree is required. A science degree (e.g., chemistry, biology, food science, clinical science, nutrition) is preferred.
* 5+ years of laboratory and/or sales experience is preferred.
* Basic understanding of environmental testing is desired.
* Effective "Diagnostic Selling" skills or willingess to learn.
* Candidate must be customer-focused and have exceptional written, verbal, communication, and organizational skills.
