				Overview:

Waters Corporation is currently leading a search for a Global Pricing Manager for our Waters Division Organization. Waters Division includes our commercial engine for Waters Corporation, providing Sales, Service, Marketing, Technical and other support across the globe. 

This position will report directly to the Global Director of Pricing in a high visibility role responsible for driving pricing excellence across the organization & in building advanced pricing proficiencies like value pricing, pricing based on product life cycle management, and value selling across product management.

THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION

Responsibilities:

* Partner with business segments and regions to develop pricing strategy based on product life cycle, product differentiation, competitive landscape & assess macro-economic factors.  Pricing strategy includes annual list price adjustments, contract renewals, new product pricing & other product related pricing activities.
* Lead & develop value pricing proficiencies to enable commercial teams to optimize price vs value positioning.  Activities include creation of customer value, value price modeling, value selling approach, deal level guidance, sales training & negotiation tactics to enable the sales team to improve price based on value.
* Partner with product management, sales & channel/vertical market teams to optimize discounts based on customer willingness to pay.   Discount optimization includes development of advanced discount guidance models based on relevant attributes and training of commercial teams on discount guidance.
* Develop pricing training curriculum for different functions including product management, sales, finance to develop pricing as a strength.  Includes but not restricted to fundamentals of transaction pricing, value pricing, advanced analytics, deal guidance & negotiations.
* Help drive global alignments across regional pricing analysts to facilitate standard process sharing, consistency, and harmonization where it makes sense to do so.

This role is hybrid based out of Milford, MA 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday)

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Analytics or related area. Masters preferred.
* 8+ years of experience in B2B pricing, preferably in both products & services/software
* Confirmed pricing leadership experience in handling/supporting large cross functional groups including product management, finance, sales & driving complex cross functional projects
* Ability to seamlessly move from strategy to execution
* Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership
* Position requires high levels of organization, attention to detail and confirmed ability to handle a variety of challenging deadlines
* The individual must be able to work closely in a team environment and have the communication skills and poise to do so effectively
* Ability to communicate effectively business insights derived from complex data sets to partners with little or no analytics background.
