Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Commodity Manager - Indirect Procurement to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of indirect services and goods (e.g., corporate services and/or other non-IT categories). The candidate will develop and implement sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement sourcing strategies for a broad range of indirect services and goods
* Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best possible pricing and terms
* Manage supplier relationships to ensure that they meet or exceed performance expectations
* Identify opportunities for OpEx and CapEx cost savings and process improvements
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that procurement activities align with business objectives
* Manage and report on savings KPIs
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in indirect procurement, commodity management, or related field
* Flexible to manage and support new commodities
* Strong negotiation skills and experience negotiating contracts with suppliers
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP Ariba
