Responsibilities: Empower Teams: Build tools, frameworks, and automation to streamline workflows and accelerate product delivery. Cloud Landing Zone: Lead the evolution of secure, governed, and scalable cloud architectures. Continuous Improvement: Drive engineering excellence by mentoring teams and fostering best practices. Security & Compliance: Define and implement robust security measures in collaboration with compliance teams. Architectural Leadership: Guide high-level architectural decisions aligned with business priorities. Cross-Team Collaboration: Align product, engineering, and business teams to ensure successful system delivery. Technical Debt: Identify, prioritize, and remediate organizational technical gaps and debt. Solve Challenges: Address complex, organization-wide technical problems with innovative solutions. Strategic Influence: Act as a subject matter expert in high-level technical and business decisions. Qualifications: Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and SRE best practices. Familiarity with cloud architecture patterns and frameworks, microservices, containers, and serverless computing. Solid understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (PowerShell, Python, or similar) for automation and infrastructure management in AWS, as well as IAC like Terraform and CloudFormation Deep understanding of networking, security, and identity and access management (IAM) in cloud environments. In-depth knowledge of cloud computing concepts, including expertise in designing cloud-based solutions using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models. Proficient in performing in-depth analysis, complex technical troubleshooting, and problem resolution Strong time management skills, ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meeting deadlines. Ability to mentor and influence engineers and peers, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence. Demonstrated ability to approach problems strategically and solve high-stakes organizational challenges. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively align technical efforts with business strategy. Experience working within geographically distributed organizations. Professional written and interpersonal skills. AWS certifications (AWS Solution Architect, Developer, etc) are a plus, but not required. Fluent in both spoken and written English.
