Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY: The Primary Charge will assist in overseeing and directing work of nursing personnel engaging in providing patient/nursing care services to patients on assigned shifts. Demonstrates accountability for ensuring safe high quality patient care, enhance the patient /family experience, and provide effective leadership contributing to the delivery of the organization's objectives. Determines work priorities, prepares daily work assignments, and serves as a resource person for unit personnel resolving operational and patient care problems. This position requires working 5 out of 6 weekends.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing must be obtained within 3 years of date of hire into role.
* Licenses/Certifications: RN-Registered Nurse
* Other Licenses/Certifications: BLS - American Heart Association; ACLS - American Heart Association
* Experience: 2 years experience on the unit or similar unit.
* Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
