With a growing patient demand, excellent patient care, and providers' quality of work/life balance taking center stage, Dignity Health Medical Group-Sierra Nevada (Grass Valley, CA) seeks bring Primary Care providers (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to the group who are open to the following:

* Offering excellent IM or FM care to adult patients, with an emphasis on managing those who are medically complex
* Utilizing a strong referral base with easy access to specialists
* Partnering with highly trained, competent and caring support staff
* Working in a group where hearts are big and teamwork rule the days
* Providing services in a community where healthcare providers are appreciated every day for their heroic work

Compensation Range: $246,755 - $296,789 / Year

Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

* Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
* Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
* Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.

Communication:

* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
* Provide clear and concise medical information.
* Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.

Documentation:

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
* Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
* Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.

Diagnostic Procedures:

* Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
* Perform procedures as needed
* Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.

Team Collaboration:

* Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
* Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
* Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.

Quality Improvement:

* Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
* Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
* Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.

Compliance:

* Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
* Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
* Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

Continuous Learning:

* Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.
* Participate in ongoing medical education and training.
* Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications:

* A valid and unrestricted California medical license
* Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
* Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
