Responsibilities:
As a Primary Care NP or PA with Sockolov & Sockolov, you will deliver high-quality, comprehensive healthcare to a diverse adult patient population within a thriving family practice. This full-time role focuses on providing clinical excellence through health assessments, accurate diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment plans. You will serve as a key member of their collaborative medical team, ensuring that every patient receives compassionate care while exercising sound clinical judgment and appropriate specialist referrals when necessary.
Every day you will manage a consistent patient schedule in a professional office environment, utilizing an EMR system to maintain thorough and accurate medical records. Your daily responsibilities include selecting appropriate medications, managing patient encounter forms with precise diagnostic and treatment coding, and facilitating informed patient decision-making. The group supports your work-life balance by providing a standard Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule with no on-call responsibilities, plus a dedicated paid half-day each week specifically for charting and administrative tasks.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a valid DEA license, be a graduate of an accredited NP or PA program, and maintain active Board certification. Sockolov & Sockolov are looking for a dedicated APP who demonstrates proficiency in medical coding, a commitment to productivity standards, and the ability to provide exceptional care to adult patients. While EPIC experience is considered a plus, they value candidates who are organized, clinically skilled, and ready to contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered practice in Sacramento.

Qualifications:
Required
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or Bachelor's program
* Completion of accredited NP or PA training program
* Active California NP or PA license (or ability to obtain)
* Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
* Board certified
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
