We currently seek a dedicated primary care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our community partner, Dr. Sami Khouri, MD, in his Folsom, CA, practice. Dr. Khouri is a highly regarded and well-established provider with a strong reputation of providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. Responsibilities: As a Primary Care NP or PA with Dr. Sami Khouri, you will: * Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients. * Conduct physical exams including well-woman exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, manage chronic conditions and refer to specialists. * Order and interpret diagnostic tests. * Prescribe medications and provide patient/family education. * Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care. * Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment. The Group Offers: * 3-4 day work weeks * Generous admin time * Competitive salary commensurate with experience * Competitive benefits package, including health and welfare benefits, PTO - including paid holidays, CME allowance, retirement plan * Employee bonuses * A supportive, collaborative and caring work environment with an experienced physician and staff. * Opportunities for professional growth and development. * A chance to make a real difference in the lives of your patients Qualifications: Qualifications: * Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. * Current and valid California NP or PA license. * National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) OR current NCCPA certification. * A minimum of 1 year of experience in primary care strongly preferred. * New graduate NP's with a strong inpatient RN background are welcome to apply. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong clinical skills and knowledge of primary care principles and practice. * Experience with EPIC EMR system
