Responsibilities:
Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group is excited to offer an internal leadership opportunity for a qualified and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to serve as the Lead APP within our Primary Care service line. This role is ideal for an experienced APP who is passionate about patient care and is ready to take the next step in their professional journey by contributing to clinical leadership and team development.
Role Summary:
The Lead APP will maintain a 90% clinical role while dedicating 10% of their time to administrative and leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the clinical setting
* Act as a resource and liaison for APPs in the assigned practice(s)
* Support the onboarding, mentoring, and integration of new APPs
* Partner with practice leadership to support operational goals and improve workflows
* Assist with scheduling support and coordination of APP coverage
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings
* Foster a collaborative, team-oriented work environment
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
* Currently employed as an NP or PA within Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group
* Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience preferred, ideally within primary care
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Demonstrated interest or experience in leadership, mentorship, or quality improvement
* Active Texas licensure and national certification as NP or PA
