				Overview:

The pre-press associate gathers and prepares components and supplies for production orders. The focus of this position is to ensure the color press is able to run with all of the materials needed to run orders.

3rd Shift: Sun. - Thu.  9:45PM - 6AM

Responsibilities:

* Prepares printing plates, dies, inks, boxes, labels, cores, paperwork and other supplies for production orders
* Precisely mounts flexible printing plates on print cylinders
* Returns and inventories unused components when order is complete
* Operates electric lift cart with working platform at height
* Performs accurate inventory transactions using handheld scanner
* Assists with inventory count-Collaborates with planning department and material handlers to set jobs appropriately
* Demonstrates the ability to operate the press while press operator is on break
* Has basic QA knowledge and demonstrates ability to performs quality checks and inspection on products if needed.
* Demonstrates the ability to actively participate and follow all safety regulations, polices and initiatives. Including performing daily maintenance inspection and reporting any issue of concerns appropriate leader

Qualifications:

* Required Experience:

Preferred Experience:

* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* 1+ years experience
* Ability to lift 40lbs of steel dies and push/pull carts
* Standing, walking and bending 95% of the time
* Ability to work effectively with others
* Accepts direction and instruction from supervisor
* Basic math and computer skills
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
