Responsibilities:

Position Summary

* The P Coordinator functions as the Prehospital and Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator

Qualifications:

Required
 
* Must possess and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license with the state of California.
* Associate of Nursing (ADN) or 1 - 3 years of experience (at least 2 years of acute care nursing experience)
* Must possess and maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
* Must possess and maintain a current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate
* Must possess and maintain a current Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS)
* Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) within 6 months of hire
* Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within 18 months of hire
* Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 6 months of hire
* Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire

Desired
 
* Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
* Pediatric experience
* MICN experience
* Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse BCEN (CPEN-BCEN)

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.  This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
