Overview: GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Power Platform Developer to work in a hybrid capacity, with 3 days on-site per week (Monday through Wednesday) at the DC Office of the Chief Financial Officer in Washington, D.C. This position requires candidates to be located within commuting distance of the DMV area and offers a collaborative work environment focused on modern low-code business solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform suite. Responsibilities: * Create custom applications using Power Apps, including designing user interfaces, workflows, and data integrations. * Automate tasks and streamline workflows using Power Automate by connecting multiple services and applications. * Design and develop dashboards and reports using Power BI to deliver actionable business insights. * Integrate data from sources such as Dataverse, SharePoint, Azure, and various databases. * Ensure Power Platform solutions meet security, compliance, and data governance standards. * Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize Power Platform solutions for performance. * Work closely with business stakeholders and IT professionals to align solutions with business goals. * Implement solutions that integrate multiple data sources and external services, including APIs and RESTful services. * Support and mentor power users in developing their own solutions using Power Platform tools. * Ensure best practices are followed and maintain documentation for processes and solutions. * Stay up to date with the latest features and best practices within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. Qualifications: * 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. * 5+ years of experience in data modeling, database design, SQL, and data integration. * 5+ years of proficiency with JavaScript, JSON, and familiarity with languages like C# or Python. * Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Office 365 services. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
