Overview: Selux Corporation is hiring a Powder Coater/Painter in their Highland, NY manufactuaring location. This is a full time position with excellent affordable medical, dental and vision benefits, paid holidays, paid time off and 401k match. Pay Rate: $17-$19/hr. Responsibilities: * Performs visual inspection of all materials prior to coating * Cleans paint lines, guns, and preventative maintenance. * Report problems with quality, process, equipment and materials to supervisor * Quality control of all processes * Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements * Must have the ability to take direction and work well with others * Must work within the confines of Selux's PPE and Safety Policy, which includes, Safety Glasses, gloves and dust masks. Qualifications: Job Knowledge and Skills: * 1-2 years of industrial coating system required in a manufacturing environment * Must be able to focus closely on details (attention to detail is critical) * Must have the ability to take direction and work well with others. * Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Physical Demands: * Must be able to stand, walk stoop, bend, and lift overhead. * Ability to move/lift up to 75lbs * Frequently required to use hands to handle objects * Ability to work in a hot environment. * Specific vision requirements include close vision.
