Responsibilities:

* Provide timely and effective remote post sales technical support, solving technical problems of varied scope and complexity.
* Effectively work and communicate with worldwide support and the engineering teams - the application engineer is the technical interface between the customer and Keysight product developers.
* Accurately log, track and maintain customer service requests. 
* Achieve customer satisfaction and support metric goals and SLAs.
* Share expertise through the creation of technical article content. 
* Leverage post-sales interactions with customers, to investigate more broadly and provide highly qualified opportunities to sales. 

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications: 

* Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is essential due to the need to support the Greater China business.
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree, or equivalent in electronics, electrical engineering or communications engineering. 
* Between 1-3 years relevant customer support experience.
* Clear written and verbal communications; able to explain technical concepts and subjects over the phone and through email.
* Strong organisational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritise and work well under pressure.
* Must work well in a team environment and be self-motivated. 
* Strong analytical skills to analyse and solve technical problems.
* Ability to effectively interface with customers; experience in technical sales and/or customer service skills.

Desired Qualifications: 

* Understanding of the generation, demodulation and analysis of digital communication signals.
* Understanding of RF/MW fundamentals with practical experience using RF/MW test equipment.
* Programming skills that may include .NET, C#, C++, VB, Python.
