Overview:
Job Title: Post Closing Specialist (Investor Shipping)
Location: Remote OK ( If living within 31 miles of Santa Ana, CA or Austin, TX will need to be able to work hybrid). Hours Flexible but preferably 7am - 3:30pm PST
Pay: $17 - $20/hr. d.o.e. plus benefits
Primary responsibilities include preparing real estate loans to ensure they are closed in conformance with all underwriting guidelines. Post-Closing prepares loans for booking and settlement with agencies, tracks and clears post close file exceptions.

* Performs post audit review of secondary market loans based upon regulatory agency and investor requirements.
* Prepares files for other audits of secondary market loans.
* Disbursement of all residential mortgage loans.
* Reconciliation of all HUD/Settlement Statements with FICS.
* Mailing customer survey letters.
* Coordinating trailing documents to outside investors
* Reviewing all mortgage loans for compliance following QC checklist.
* Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.

* Working knowledge of conventional and government residential mortgage loans, and investor guidelines.
* Must have excellent attention to detail.
* Prior experience and proficiency with Loan Origination Systems and Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
* Good verbal and written communication skills.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three to five years' experience in this field of work is preferred.
