				Overview:

To service and maintain the cleanliness of all public areas including public and pool deck, pool cabanas and outdoor lobby areas in accordance with Omni Standards.

Responsibilities:

* Essential Functions: 

*  Clean and maintain cleanliness floors, chairs, umbrellas, trash cans, walk ways and any common areas within the scope of the recreation department

*  Cleaning all areas of facilities, keeping a tidy workspace, while engaging with guests and members. 

*  Re-stock towels as needed.

*  Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.

*  Daily use of time clock.

*  Work with other associates to maintain a working schedule.

*  Work holidays and events and special programs as scheduled.

*  Proper handling of keys with access pool deck area 

*  Ability to work early mornings

Hotel Specific Functions:

*  Maintain standards of guest services and consistent positive guest experience as documented by J.D. Power and AAA Ratings

*  Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotels culture, rules, and regulations.

*  Answer phones using the proper "Moments of Service" scenario.

*  Provide guests with cheerful, personable, efficient service.

*  Responsible for the clean and professional appearance of uniforms

*  Fully understand and implement "Moments of Service" and "Power of Engagement."

*  Interact with every guest using Omni Standards

*  Knowledgeable about all hotel amenities and property specifics

*  Actively participate in the assurance of the safety of all guests

*  Treat everyone, supervisors, staff and guests with courtesy and respect always

Tools and Equipment:

*  First aid equipment. Fitness equipment, Pool filters and chemicals, pool lifts, and basic tools, janitorial equipment, and cleaning equipment.

Qualifications:

* Required Skills:

*  Excellent customer service skills.

*  Must be able to move up to 50 pounds.

*  Must be able to see, hear and communicate.

*  Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and walk long distances.

*  Enthusiastic, willing to learn, outgoing, friendly & professional.

*  First Aid/CPR/AED certified.

Preferred Skills:

*  Experience or interest in fitness and/or retail clothing sales.

*  Excellent communication and organizational skills.

*  Ability to work in high traffic areas and give service to several customers at one time.

*  Able to multitask under high business levels.
