Responsibilities: *]:pointer-events-auto scroll-mt-(--header-height)" dir="auto" data-turn-id="4e5cd5ed-f79c-4005-9c82-d3bad236b21c" data-testid="conversation-turn-11" data-scroll-anchor="false" data-turn="user">*]:pointer-events-auto scroll-mt-[calc(var(--header-height)+min(200px,max(70px,20svh)))]" dir="auto" data-turn-id="request-WEB:87735dd7-92ec-40a5-98d3-c55ba2f85e6b-5" data-testid="conversation-turn-12" data-scroll-anchor="true" data-turn="assistant"> * Administer oxygen and PAP therapy per physician orders; instruct patients on equipment use and care. * Write detailed, accurate reports of findings and therapeutic interventions. * Collect and review patient medical history, medications, and relevant information for study appropriateness. * Maintain, calibrate, clean, and troubleshoot sleep lab equipment. * Provide age-appropriate care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. * Evaluate patient and family educational needs; provide direct education or referrals. * Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other team members to ensure continuity of care. Qualifications: Education: * Graduate of an accredited Polysomnographic, Respiratory Therapy, or Electroneurodiagnostic program required * Associate's degree in health sciences preferred Experience: * Minimum 6 months of clinical experience in a Sleep Center required License(s)/Certification(s): * Registered Polysomnographic Technologist * Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) OR * Sleep Disorder Specialist * National Board for Respiratory Therapy Care * State licensure in Polysomnographic Technology or Respiratory Care required where applicable * Iowa board of Respiratory Care and Polysomnography (IBRC) * Illinois Department Of Financial & Professional Regulation (IDFPR) * Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) * Iowa Board of Respiratory Care and Polysomnography (IBRC) * Wisconsin Department OfSafety And Professional Services (WIDSPS)
