Initiates and processes all physician payments across the Physician Alignment Group. Ensures every physician payment is reconciled back to the contract. Executes month end close with finance team to prepare physician payment reconciliation and compensation records. Provides analytical support for variance analysis and senior management. Prepares and reviews financial statements, journal entries, and monthly account reconciliations. Performs monthly financial reporting, income statement analysis, and prepares various standard reports. Evaluates existing procedures and recommends methods of improving workflows. Takes initiative to resolve issues and concerns and exhibits good decision-making skills.

This position is hybrid and requires 1 day in the office/week.

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

* High School Diploma/G.E.D. required
* Associate's Degree in Finance or Accounting, or related field required or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree.
* Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, or related field, preferred
* 1 year experience in finance, accounting, or related field, preferably in a health care system 
* Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications, preferably Microsoft Excel

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
