Overview: OHSU Health Hillsboro Medical Center, formerly Tuality Healthcare has always been committed to our community. She brought together independent physicians under one roof to treat the sick and provide a safe place for mothers to give birth. As part of our affiliation with OHSU Health, we've changed our name to Hillsboro Medical Center. This new moniker reflects our expanded services and clinic locations that provide patients living in Hillsboro and western Washington County greater access to primary and specialty care. Responsibilities: Provides comprehensive Gastroenterology medical care to all patients served by Hillsboro Medical Center. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes a team concept and reflects our values of Compassion, Collaboration, Excellence and Integrity. Qualifications: About the Team: * Our practice is growing; join a stable 5-person group that is expanding * Enjoy a congenial, collaborative environment and excellent rapport with clinic staff * 60:40 Endoscopy to Clinic split * 32 hours per week of direct patient care; 8 hours clinical administrative time * Call is currently every 4th week for 1 week at a time Required Qualifications: * Medical degree from an accredited medical school with appropriate residency training * Board Certified or Board Eligible (Licensed in Oregon) * Active staff membership in good standing with the medical staff of the hospital with all privileges and responsibilities accorded such membership * Demonstrates skill in caring for specialty-related patients * Uses effective communication skills to work with patients, families and co-workers in "simple" as well as in "difficult" situations * Excellent customer service skills * Bilingual skills a plus Our Competitive Benefit Offerings: * Generous paid time off program for vacation, holidays, and sick time * 403(b) Retirement Plan with employer match * Affordable medical, dental, and vision plan options for employees and dependents * Award-winning Wellness Program and employer paid Employee Assistance Program (EAP) * CME Reimbursement and time off provided * Additional voluntary benefit offerings and discounts at select retail and fitness centers * Life insurance and basic disability fully employer paid * Free and plentiful parking, as well as located one block from MAX station
