One California Responsibilities: In keeping with the Pacific Central Coast Health Centers health care philosophy, the Trauma/ACS position Physician Assistant works together with an Trauma/ACS team to treat patients and support trauma program. The Trauma/ACS position Physician Assistant will participate in the care of patients in the operating room and surgery, pre-op and post-op care and on the floor. Will coordinate care with other services and evaluate and help manage patients in the emergency room. Qualifications: PA State Certification. DEA License. 1-3 years prior experience as a Physician Assistant. Knowledge of physician assistant principles and techniques. 1-3 years prior experience in trauma is preferred, however willing to train the right candidate.
